For a decade following her graduation from graduate school in 2012, The Speech Guide founder, Priscilla Hansen Neve, often found her DMs and phone messages full of friends and family asking questions about their child’s speech and language development.

While she did her best to answer these parents’ questions and assuage their concerns, she wished there was a website with resources for speech and language that was directed toward caregivers as well as speech pathologists.

The Speech Guide grew out of this need for a one-stop site for evidence-based answers to speech-related questions and engaging materials that parents can use at home with their own kids needing help with their speech.
